The 7th edition of the international exhibition of the Florence Biennale of Contemporary Art of 2009. Artist Ted Shaw, contemporary international artist from the Houston, Texas, United States has received an official invitation from the Scientific Committee Jury of the Florence Biennale of Contemporary Art of 2009 to exhibit his art works in this upcoming event. The event will be held at the historic Fortezza da Basso in Florence, Italy from 5-13 December, 2009. 800 artists from 80 countries will be exhibiting more than 2,500 artworks and there will be an extraordinary meeting of cultures, languages and diverse artistic styles. The Florence Biennale is largest exhibition held on the earth. It supports the United Nations program "Dialogue between civilizations", to which the Biennale has officially adhered since 2001.
